• Pupil Forum

  The Pupil Forum had a fantastic day visiting Seacroft Grange, Cross Gates and White Laith to talk about the different sports they offer in their schools.  They enjoyed taking part in athletics and dance lessons.  

• Pupil Forum

  The Pupil Forum had a fantastic afternoon at Beechwood Primary School talking about the benefits of being part of a Co-operative Trust.

• Inter-school debating event

  Y4 & Y5 pupils across the Trust took part in a debating programme this term. The motions they discussed included:  

  •    Children under 14 should be allowed to do paid work

  •    Children should be allowed to strike against climate change in school-time

  •    Children should have longer breaks in the school day

  They enjoyed learning about and discussing these topics in class with their teachers and a Learning Improvement Consultant.  The programme finished with an inter-school’s competition where the children demonstrated their debating skills.

• Tom Palmer met children from LEPP

  We were really pleased to welcome Tom Palmer to the Leeds East Primary Partnership Trust.  Tom provided inspiration during our book week for the reading work we have been involved in across the five schools.  Photographs taken on the day can be found in the Gallery under the Parents and Children tab.

• LEPP workshop in the Arts at West Yorkshire Playhouse

  LEPP provided an inspirational workshop to kick off an Arts and Cultural Curriculum for Leeds conference at West Yorkshire Playhouse on 15 June.  Our workshop showcased some of the fantastic work that takes place with our cultural partners (Drama, Matthew Bellwood from Moveable Feast Productions and Stephen Brennan from Leeds Grand Theatre).

   

  A lot of this work takes place due to the generous funding of our partners Friends of Foxwood Farm.

• LS14 Trust secure a 'playbox' for Rein Park

  Chris from the LS14 Trust was delighted to advise the Trust that due to feedback provided by the pupil forum they have been able to secure a new 'playbox' for Rein Park.  It is hoped this will be ready for Summer 2018.
